A couple weeks ago Amanda and I had a great time at the This American Life show at the Paramount - the 6th stop its promotional tour of their new TV show on Showtime. You can hear the live recording of the show on their new site. Not to be missed is Dan Savage's story. We enjoyed Mates of State - the band touring with them -enough to download some tunes.
Also it was my luck that Lebowskifest finally came to town. Tickets were sold out for the bowling night but at least I was able to have a few white russians and watch the film the night before. Next time I will be prepared. I am sorely tempted to fly out to the Lousiville for the next one.
