Rat City

Time for another installment of Natebot.com! Lots going on these days here at Sunset Hill Studios. And little time to speak of it now.

The not-so-distant Olympics are shrouded in the mists of Autumn's slate skies. The Puget's water, dark as rain slicked streets in the morning and smelling of spawning steelheads and oil. The sound's body not languid but in its movement like a titan asleep: potent but blind. What monsters might it dream in its depths?

Tomorrow we see the semi-finals of the Rat City Rollergirls. I'll continue to root for the underdogs, and try not to enjoy the fisticuffs so much. I hear they'll have beer this time 'round.
You know you can get huge octopus at the local market? Tenticles as large as my arms. Anyone got recipes to share?
